A Dramatic Turn of Events
Right when I lost momentum finishing the book titled Keytracks, I got a call from László Cselőtei, the editor of HammerWorld magazine. He asked me if I would be open to publish parts of the book in the reinvented magazine in their 35th anniversary year.
I am grateful beyond words for the opportunity.
On the one hand, I finished the drafts of the remaining part of the book in one weekend, started to complete the missing chapters, set the release date for the book (19th October, 2021), and built a website for the project in 14 days with the expert help of Konrad Berényi and Zoltan Rontó.
On the other hand, it is a fascinating journey to revisit the past when I sank really deep in music and re-join my idols, the Hammer team I was working with between September 1990 and December 1996.
We agreed on a two-page sneak preview in the following ten issues of the legendary periodical, the first eight stories being exclusive for the magazine. I will publish each story online one month after the magazine’s street date, so I invented a game for you. Each month I will collect all my belongings related to the keytrack in the current article, and you have to guess, which song had such an impact on me to enter the Top 40 list of Keytracks of mine.
So, which is the song of February?
